As the Supervisor of Research and Information Services, Julie responds to member requests for advice and information regarding human resource (HR) issues. She also provides leadership to the team that staffs Trusight’s HR Answer Line. In addition, Julie has coordinated roundtable discussions for HR generalists and managers on a variety of HR topics. She brings a lot of practical experience to the work that she does and enjoys problem solving and helping others. Julie’s analytical and loves the challenge of keeping up with current laws and regulations. She takes pleasure in the relationships she’s developed while working with Trusight’s members.
Julie has more than 20 years experience as a HR generalist and director in a healthcare setting. As a generalist, she provided consultation to department managers, and as a director she was responsible for the HR function in a large healthcare facility with 2000+ employees and six labor contracts. Julie’s experience includes employee relations, benefits and payroll administration, labor contract administration, staffing, policy development, and performance management.
Fun fact about Julie: She is a devoted Golden Gopher fan.
